Piezography is a PhotoShop plug-in that uses QuadBlack inks and the Epson 
3000 to produce dotless black and white inkjet prints.
Here is what the web site says:
  It automates printing by perfectly matching image tonality and the 
printing of 4 densities of black ink. No crossover dot is
  apparent! The inks themselves are extraordinary. Not only do these 
pigment inks stand up to direct sunlight, they also print
  neutral unlike the Quad inks being offered by other manufacturers which 
vary from brown to pink.
