John & Hans,

Thanks for the info. The instructions I have are in Japanese so I didn't 
want to guess wrong and damage the lens.

It is a 25mm. I just wanted to see if anyone would catch it! Actually as I 
hit the send I saw the mistake ... c'est la vie.

Hi Neil - I assume you mean the 25/4 Snapshot Skopar. It takes a standard
E39 filter - take off the lenshood, screw in the filter, screw the hood
back on. The hood does not use the filter thread.

Neil,

The Skopar 25 uses the same 39 mm filters as the Summicron 35 and 50, etc. 
They
attach in the same way.
