Do they require a bachelors degree and certification testing?
We've all had trash jobs - maybe not collecting it, but trash jobs none the less.
As long as we're OT: I've seen on several garbage trucks in Atlanta: "Satisfaction guarenteed or double your garbage back" in large bold lettering.  If I wasn't driving at the time I'd have taken a picture (somewhat on toppic).

Hi!

     Here in this part of California, with the world's six largest economy,BTW),
trash collectors make double the pay of secondary school teachers.  Folks
line up for the trash jobs.
