Pick a condition, pick a price and then go looking. Hold to your decision. Take the time it takes to get what you want. Price is often a function of the need of the seller. I've bought many guns, cars, and cameras over the last several decades at very low prices. Someone just had to have something else & the value of what was at hand was determined by the buyer (me). A friend of mine often says that a quick nickle beats a slow dime. Don't be afraid to ask or offer less than the requested price. Let me repeat, don't be afraid to ask or offer less than the requested price. Build a list of the various places people recommend - ebay.com will be one of the first. I got involved in the LUG because Marc Small gave me a list of several places to look. You've seen the posts on Fridays.
