I agree with Fred.  I belong to a number of other volunteer/hobby
organizations, and ALL of them have discovered that it does indeed cost
money to have a high-quality editorial product produced regularly.
Volunteer editors have more often than not been unsatisfactory, either in
timeliness, editorial taste, or both.  In my opinion, the Viewfinder is the
BEST of all the hobby magazines I've seen lately, and it is well worth
investing in quality.
