Also, I had a few rolls of 400 speed films. At least 22 airport hand baggage scans ocurred over 4 months. None of the film was damaged. Please note HAND BAGGAGE X-rays. I think the luggage scanners are much more powerful. Also, as was mentioned on the list a while ago, at Lufthaven Munchen last May they had to take my Fuji GS645S apart because they had never seen such a camera. In 1989 I passed through the old Munich airport with a 1962 Pentax H1a slr. The security guy would not believe this manual camera had no batteries. "There are no cameras without batteries", he declared. It took a security supervisor to clear me for the flight to Berlin. BTW, these guys were Americans at the Pan Am check-in. I doubt they were even born when the camera was made. Bill Lawlor
