Mike,
   I had a f/3.5 version in screw mount that I thought was a decent
performer when closed down to 5.6 and smaller. Opened more, it would
vignette much like my O*****s XA's lens.
   A co-worker loaned me his M2 with f/2.8 M-Summaron, and I thought it
equal to my M-Summicron. Real nice lens!
