Ken, Doug and Jim have given excellent responses.  If time permits, Yosemite
Valley to the East is paradise.  2000' vertical cliffs, waterfalls, river,
wildlife, all within walking distance.  There is almost no spot in the
Valley where you cannot find a nice shot in one direction or another.
