Minolta Sky was not an M-mount camera: it had a proprietary mount which had three teeth instead of four. The project was dropped after the president Tajima travelled to U.S. to discuss it with the U.S. importer who saw no market for any more Japanese RF. That was the turning point for Minolta which turned its direction to SLRs. Also, it makes a reference to Nikon S3, but alas, lenses other than 50mm have not been announced yet. It makes me uncomfortable to see these inaccuracies, despite the well written, eloquent description of the main subject.
