Hi Greg

To disconnect the winder of the motor drive, you just need to open the film
advance lever.  This allows for a single shot and the ability to manually
advance the film.  I would note, however, that the power from the drive is
still necessary for the camera to work.

I just have some questions about the motor drive for the R8:

- - When one pull out the advance lever, is the drive disconnected, so as one
can manually advance the film, as with the winder?

- - When done so, are the two shutter release of the drive always functionning
or are they shut down also?

This interest me a lot as I find the R8 exessively comfortable with the
drive, but lacking some handgrip without it, this without wanting to have
the film advanced automatically all the time.
