Nikon went to the titanium shutter curtains with the F. The Nikon RFs
were all cloth shuttered, like the Leicas.

AFAIK Godfrey the shutter material changed during production such that
early SP's and S3's had cloth and late ones titanium. My SP has titanium
curtains for example. I have read that the early F's had cloth, although
whether they made it past the prototype stage I do not know. It is amazing
how many parts from the rangefinders were used on the F.
