Subject: [Leica] Leica copies from Russia?
From: ZaaX@aol.com

Has anyone out there bought one of the Leica copies made in Russia that are sold by Sovietski? Are these like a IIIa or what? How good of a copy is it? Is it a decent camera for shooting? Is the lens decent? Is this a Zorki? They have 'as is' copies for sale for $150 or fully refurbished ones for sale for $300 at;

Stephen Gandy on the CameraQuest site talks about Russian copies on the following two pages;

Does anyone know where these are sold? I would love to get one of the black enamel IIIa copies.

Any info on this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
