The prediction seems to be at least in part correct.  Nikon just states that
"it is now being prepared".  They also state that it is made "as close to
the original S3 as possible with modern technology and quality control".
Thus, it may have no TTL meter.  It will be sold with a Nikkor-S 50/1.4
lens.
