Subject: RE: [Leica] 35 f/1.4 ASPH vs 35 f/2 ASPH

Take a look at Erwin's analysis at
http://www.imx.nl/photosite/leica/m/lenses/pages/l11879.html

IMHO, all you get with the Summilux ASPH over the Summicron ASPH is one more
stop. Performance from 2.0 on down is apparently so close as to be
indistinguishable. I have the 'cron, and it's a wonderful, magical lens.
Wide-open performance is nothing less than astonishing. So the question is,
how much is that extra stop worth to you?
