Subject: [Leica] prints for sale - sothebys.com (was: Art etc)

A propos of all this talk about fine art and print collecting, you might
want to check out the very good online auction site at

http://www.sothebys.com

where a number of fine prints including work by Mapplethorpe, Mikhailov and
- -- who knows -- probably even William Egglestone, as well as lesser mortals,
is for sale. The reserves look reasonable... certainly when compared to the
prices charged for dodgy late C19th landscape paintings.

I think they also have a cameras category, but I haven't checked it out yet.
