When we bought ours last year I didn't want a sunroof, but my wife did.
After thinking that it might be handy for photography I acquisced. I had no
idea how useful it would be. I just pop up out of the sunroof. No joke!
It's oftentimes a great vantage point. Gets me above the crowd and above
ground clutter. I keep a small tripod handy and set on the roof when
needed. (I've even used it for large format). It's faster and more
convenient than setting up a tripod in the bed of my pickup.
