I should opened up to f2.8 or f4 more, and move in closer to (and
further isolate) main subjects.

[Austin] Or use a longer lense...  That is why I really like the slightly 
longer than normal lenses...it gets me in close to the subject without 
being on top of it/them, AND it has a shallower depth of field.
