Always when shooting contre-jour.<< John, Nice to know there are directors out there who know a lens from a lightmeter! I'm a DP/ photographer myself, and agree 100% on the filter issue, although on some film shoots there was enough lumber on the lens to build a house(CC,ND, Optical flat)!!! With film going back to film for release any small degradation can turn into big degradation w/ the final image four generations away and projected! BTW, love your still stuff, and am curious if you (and others) have any fav. optics for motion pic. Zeiss for me! Mark Rutledge markrut@ticnet.com
