Nice to know there are directors out there who know a lens from a
lightmeter!
I'm a DP/ photographer myself, and agree 100% on the filter issue, although
on some film shoots there was enough lumber on the lens to build a
house(CC,ND, Optical flat)!!!
With film going back to film for release any small degradation can turn into
big degradation w/ the final image four generations away and projected!
BTW, love your still stuff, and am curious if you (and others) have any fav.
optics for motion pic. Zeiss for me!
