I've been on this user group for 4 days now and had to go through ~100 emails a day. In that time I've seen threads on: 1. An emotional email slagging match between two of the members about what I can't remember/don't care to remember 2. 100 odd emails about Kodachrome, when 2-3 should suffice ie. Beautiful colours, tonality, sharpness and lasts!! 3. Whether F3's are still made - I've owned and F3 and liked it, but I don't want to read about it here. 4. People either slagging or defending the R8 - If works for you, you enjoy using it, and the results are good then who really cares! 5. Tasteless and irrelevant political jokes. I came here to improve my knowledge about Leicas and photography, and to share my own experiences (where relevant) - not to read shit like this. So far the LUG is a waste of time - I would suggest that those people wanting to discuss any of the above topics should find a user group that would better cater for those needs. But I do not know if you can expect anything from this group that is actually useful about Leicas anytime soon.
