Subject: [Leica] uh oh....too good to be true?

I have been looking around at 90mm lenses and ran across a website owned by a 
camera store in NYC.  They quote a price for a new 90mm elmarit-m @ 979.00, 
free shipping.  This is a lot lower than other prices I have seen, but they 
make a point of saying the lens comes with a guarantee from them...leading me 
to believe not from Leica.  I have certainly heard of gray market goods, is 
that what is going on?

Anyone have a clue?
