Seriously, I'm not THAT far in the hinterlands. I could drive two hours to St. Louis and go to a camera store. But that would mean entering the city unnecessarily and we don't want to do that, do we . . . I'm quite serious. I've received many generous loans over the years, from fellow photographers kind enough to let me try things I'm curious about. It has greatly enriched my "camera culture;" that is to say, my experience of cameras. Now, gang...SURELY one of us will step forward and loan Bob a user M6 to try for a few days. Anyone have a user he or she wouldn't miss for a few days plus transit time? Let's get one to Bob and let him try it out properly. A photographer of his stature should not have to buy blind. I'm quite sincerely sorry I can't do this myself. Wish I could. It would repay only in small part the many generosities I've been on the receiving end of over the years.
