Bob MCEowen's question on M6 meter visibility made me think about my
preferences between the old 'classic' M6 meter and the new M6 TTL meter
displays.

The old meter, with its two opposing arrows, meant that if one noticed
(without really looking) two lights in the viewfinder, then exposure was
correct.  No need to deliberately look at the meter.  

But with the new meter, if one sees two lights, a quick look at the meter
may be needed to check which two are lit, 'cause you're either half a stop
under or half over (or thereabouts).  And if one sees only one light, then
exposure could be bang on (with the dot lit), well under (with the left
arrow lit) or well over (with the right arrow lit).  Now some might say,
"Nah, it's not that finicky", or "S'long as the lightning bolt's flashing,
you've got 'em!"

I'm happy with both; 'Vive La Difference', but are there any strong feelings
out there in favour of the classic or the TurTLe meter displays?

accordance with survey outcomes.
