Subject: [Leica] Web-based Leica Photography Q&A Forum

Greetings to all LUGgers.

Several people have recommended to me that I make sure that you, the LUG
list, are aware of the web-based Leica Photography Q&A forum. The purpose
of the forum is to form a centralized, web-based source of Leica-related
information that is easy to access. It's address on the web is:

http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a.tcl?topic=Leica%20Photography

To help get it off the ground and moving, it will take Leica experts,
people like you, to post new questions and responses to questions already
posted. It is possible to set email alerts when new postings are added,
although at the moment, Philip Greenspun, the writer of the forum software,
has turned off that function temporarily due to a high amount of traffic
with some of the Y2K-related forums that are run on the same main server
(http://www.greenspun.com/bboard). However, the Leica Photography Q&A is
extremely easy to use and works very well for this purpose. I would
appreciate it if you stopped by to have a look. If this has been an
inappropriate message to the LUG, please forgive me.

Thank you!
