Your points are well taken.  This gets me thinking that Leica is going to 
struggle as long as it has to resort to such peripheral gimmicks to make 
money.  I wonder if they could make a leap in technology with an electronic 
rangefinder body that could be smaller and lighter than an M6.  I mean that 
the rangefinder mechanism would be electronic rather than mechanical.
