Please let's stop arguing about this.

The issue here is one of perspective. /Discover/ magazine asserted that
this only happens about once a century. This statement is entirely
true. /Sky and Telescope/ magazine asserted that it is almost impossible
to see the difference between this phenomenon and one that happens at
least once a year. This statement is also true.

It seems to me that our Leica list must have many people who care about
visual differences that are almost impossible to detect. So be it.

I think I'm going to take my fancy Minolta spot meter and meter the
intensity of the full moon, and then do the same thing next month and
the month after that. I figure if the meter can see the difference then
I'll be glad I participated, and if it can't, then I'll know not to
care when this happens again in 97 years.
