Well, let's not reignite the beef war. BUT if you're coming to London, or
especially if you live here, make sure you do this.

Take one of the ripoff open-top bus tours.

Yeah, they're tacky. But it is a truly amazing way to see the city --
perhaps more amazing for those of us who live here and never ever go to see
any of the tourist sights.

Other must sees: 

Camden of a weekend - 250,000 misfits crammed into a square mile.

Leicester Square Tube at 11pm on a Saturday night. 50,000 groovers packed
into a square yard.

Tower Bridge at 5am on a Sunday morning. Absolutely deserted, the only time
you will see it this way.

Brick Lane market, early as possible on a Sunday (2 miles N of Tower Bridge
:-)). Every stolen good your heart desires.

Smithfield Meat Market. The only place in London where the pubs open at 5am.
