Subject: [Leica] One thing everyone should do at least once (in London)

Well, let's not reignite the beef war. BUT if you're coming to London, or
especially if you live here, make sure you do this.

Take one of the ripoff open-top bus tours.

Yeah, they're tacky. But it is a truly amazing way to see the city --
perhaps more amazing for those of us who live here and never ever go to see
any of the tourist sights.

Other must sees:

Camden of a weekend - 250,000 misfits crammed into a square mile.

Leicester Square Tube at 11pm on a Saturday night. 50,000 groovers packed
into a square yard.

Tower Bridge at 5am on a Sunday morning. Absolutely deserted, the only time
you will see it this way.

Brick Lane market, early as possible on a Sunday (2 miles N of Tower Bridge
:-)). Every stolen good your heart desires.

Smithfield Meat Market. The only place in London where the pubs open at 5am.
