What Leica should do is bring out a smaller, cheaper, simpler *alternative* to the R8, just like the Aria is an alternative to the RTS III (or RX, or ST, or AX). Leica's a one pony cattle ranch at the moment, which survives because small fry like me can dip into the gigantic second hand market. But there is little or nothing that Leica produces new that is going to entice me to part with my money. A Leica Aria equivallent could very well do just that. It would also be a nice back-up camera to the R8.
