The discussion, Jim, was based on your statement that the 1.4/75 provided
the largest image size of any Leica M lens.  This lens does not do so:
every one of the combinations I suggested allows infinity focusing and is
not primarily a macro rig.  And the 3.5/65 IS an M lens, and was so
marketed by Leitz, though the others merely illustrate the infinite
flexibility of the M system by using part of the lens assembly, the head,
on the Viso.

Your statement is correct only for current lenses.
