Just checked, in the 'notes' at the back he writes, Rolleiflex, Tri-X at 160 ASA or 80-125 for dark skins, Dev. in UFG (whatever that brand is - ultra fine grain?) for 3-5 mins at 68 F. And ha! There is a Leica connection, he used a home made tripod featuring a (maybe Leitz) Tiltall head! Spectra light meter, printing from a condenser head on a Simmons Omega DV2 enlarger onto Dupont Velour black paper. Enough? That's all there is on the tech stuff. best regards, Jem - -----Original Message----- From: Mark Rabiner [SMTP:mrabiner@concentric.net] > Mark, > Irving Penn was also a great exponent of Tri-X Pro in 120 format.
