Now maybe what happened is that the complex shutter mechanism finally turned Ansel off to the Contax, after all those years of using it. And the simplicity of the Leica shutter won him over (something he has noted on the record). He certainly wouldn't be the first photographer who's loyalty has changed mid-stream.
