It is very sensitive to = focusing accuracy, however, on closer objects (like head and shoulder = portraits) on which the DOF if extremely shallow. Look again at your = chromes with a good loupe and see if your subjects have any sharp parts = about them or are they uniformly soft. Both the 75/1.4 M and 80/1.4 R 'luxes are superb performers at full = aperture in general but not particularly flat of field (watch the = corners). Good luck.....great lens for people!
