Hello again Everyone,
Re-reading my report after a few hours of sleep, I see a few
corrections are in order:
1. "No new major lenses are planned"
what I wanted to write is:
No new major lenses are planned to be released soon.
2. "It is clear that the buying public has voted with its money and does
not see any merit in the bulky R-8."
This may be too harsh and was, of course, my opinion. Perhaps it would
be best to state that the R-8 has clearly failed to meet sales
expectations and leave it at that.
3. I've always regarded the word 'pukka' as part of the standard
english vocabulary, just as words like 'bazaar', 'pajama',
'verandah', 'loot' and many others. Wasn't aware that it was
relatively unknown.
