Nick,

Repairing a CL shouldn't be all that difficult. Why Pro Photo in NYC wouldn't 
repair it is a mystery to me, because they have Leica specialists who can do 
anything. I believe parts for the CL are still available. Leica in NJ will 
give you an estimate of the cost if you send them the camera. Whatever you do 
pay for the work will be well worth it, because the camera is completely gone 
over. You'll get a CL that's a lot better than any you can buy.
