The Hawkins story may or may not be an Urban Legend, because it sounds
strangely like the story that had Grace Slick of the Jefferson Airplane
snubbed at an RR dealership in the Bay Area - so she is alleged to have
returned with PENNIES to buy the car for cash...either way, it's a wonderful
image....
