Brave man, and right on. I've now spent two stretches of time, one of 6
months and one of 12 months, shooting with no meter (and wrote an
article about it for the English magazine _Darkroom User_ under the
title "Train Your Brain...To Guess Exposures"). It's a peculiar thing,
but sometimes it's easier to guess exposures than to meter them. And,
fascinatingly, I found that the "red deltas" in the M6 are
tyrants--they're very hard to ignore, EVEN IF you know exactly what
you're doing and why you're departing for their advice!
