It also seems a lot more expensive for what is essentially an AE equipped rangefinder minus the base and quality of an M6. Depending on who is buying the camera, it doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to invest in one if you've taken the trouble to research other rangefinder body equipment prices; and it certainly doesn't make sense if you want to use it and expect a resale value when you want to trade it in for that M6 you wanted in the first place! I'm as far from a pro as you can possibly get, in fact, the majority of my photos suck quite frankly, that is when i actually have time to take photos (Right, B.D?) but i'll keep on using my goofy M3 until i can fall in love with something for all of those complicated reasons that go into me being in love with Alessi coffee makers and Leica: simplicity, aesthetics, quality and a whole bunch more. We seem to be flogging a horse which hasn't even seen a consumer, let alone a lugger yet. But given the statistics i've read, and the prices Konica would like for their product, i'd be really surprised if Leica were the slightest bit worried by the, er, competition.
