It is for home use. I MIGHT be oing a professional >slide show. < 5% chance> Jerry Rosenfeld >> - ------------------------------ Lightboxes... I went through too many and too many loupes - excuse me... I've just come up with LLL. Lightbox+Loupe+Leica Lou, I mean you mention for home use - which for me has been an issue which encompasses anything .but. a slide presentation. Very weird thing - I don't like slide projection that much, maybe because of the dust that is illuminated in front of the lens. I don't deny the superiority of that medium ,. maybe its the sound? Anyhow one reason for needing a projector at home, or anywhere else was that most people could not view my stuff because the lightbox would be at waist-level and the person bending half-way with the loupe on eye saying something like they couldn't really see it. It alienates most people, family, etc, from the image. So what to do? Prints help! But for projection I ended up getting a telex caramate which has a nice 8x10" or so screen that is far superior to the cheaper viewers, you know those cheap things. You slide the window open and the thing projects it wide - for presentation in a small business room or something, a bathroom. You can get the talking ones which caption the slides (and make you look like a shmuck). So it's perfect for less than 7 people at a time which actually is quite applicable, more than it seems. If you need to project (5percent...) you've got it, and it's got a handle and very mobile and its a box, also you could injure yourself picking the thing up. They take the carousel trays making it universally compatible. disclaimer: . For all I know these things are horrible and/or just ridiculous. I'm not sure exactly who they are primarily marketed for..
