First, please send the 486 laptops my way. I know people who would love them. Second, the 386 laptop I bought (for $6,000) in 1991 is still alive and serves someone to type busness letters and run some spreadsheets. No, I couldn't use in my position, but passing "obsolete" equipment down the corporate hierarchy is useful and profitable. Profitable in the sense that in a business, not everyone needs the latest in CPU technology. Most people really only type letters on computers anyway, and an "obsolete" computer is cheaper and much more efficient than a new typewriter. A 386 is also a nice tool to pick up email. Bernard
