But the Leica R modular system is real special purpose stuff when you get into
intensive long telephoto stuff like that. It is aimed at rich pros and VERY
serious amateurs.  
Tens of thousands of dollars is not necessarily what the Leica R system is all
about. Even if you got the 100 macro with your R8
