Hello Robert.
I once read a test report that compared the release lag time of the Contax
RTSIII and the Leica R8.
I don't have the exact figures. i *think* it was in a German magazine called
Color Foto. i will try to find it, I am sure its somewhere in my house.
If my memory recalls it correctly, it was somewhere in the area of 35-45 ms.
Also, i remember talking to someone about the same issues, and he told me the R7
has less lag time than the R8.
Again, that is unconfirmed though.
Of course, at such rates, it is practicaly impossible to measure it. Both my
R7's and R8's seem very fast.
The R3's that I have seem much slower in this department.
