I translated the text of the page as follows:

"So, with regards to the talk about the new M-mount Hexar, there is now a
further rumour that this may become the new M7. Supposedly, Konica wanted
to turn its Hexar into a interchangeable lens model. However, it was
considered too costly both financially and time-wise to develop a new mount.
Due to the recent popularity of Leica cameras, they wanted to use a Leica
mount. Numerous competitors have released LTM bodies and lenses, so it
would be far more competitive to use the M mount. Even though the patent is
expired, they felt obliged to discuss the use of M mount with Leica
executives.
Leica responded that it would be a great time to introduce a new M7. The
sale of R8 has been lagging, and M6TTL has only been so-so. Without
adequate resources to develop a new M7, it would make much sense to partner
with Konica.
If you look at the specification of the Konica Hexar RF scheduled to be
introduced this month, it looks as if it is an updated version of M6.

<insert Mikoro's translation>

If you look at the above specification, it seems obvious. The dimensions
are virtually the same as M6, and the weight is identical. The framelines
are the same, too. The shutter speed is available up to 1/4000, however.
The most important differences are the electronic shutter and AE, and the
lack of film advance lever because of its built-in winder. So, it may be
like an ordinary compact camera. So, if this camera gets the L logo, this
would be the next M7, and it wouldn't be only me who would think so. The
0.6x magnification is for spectacle wearers so common here in Japan,
perhaps? A 0.72x version is in the works for the overseas (non-Japanese)
market, perhaps?

This camera looks much more refined than the so-called M7 prototype that I
saw several years, based on R7 shutter. (Of course, it would be. It's made
in Japan!) Its exterior design is somewhat similar to CL, though a little
taller becfause of its big viewfinder. It is plain, and simple.

The three lenses that are supposed to be announced at the same time,
according to sources, look very much like Leica lenses, as well. The M7
rumour could really be true...

So, I will start taking advance reservations for Konica Hexar RF, even
though it is not even announced. The wholesale price isn't even determined,
so the actual selling price is yet to be determined. If I get lots of
reservations, I may be able to get them cheaper. However, the production is
scheduled to be 500 units / month, so the supply will be slow.

This can replace your high-end compact cameras. I think it is better
designed than CLE. (perhaps CLE's price will fall now!)

So, tomorrow, I will write about M-Hexanon lenses.
