It comes nicely packet in a plastic container. It comes complete with an Allan (Hex) key. the unit is nicely chromed (black ones are also available). It is fastened with a grub screw (also chromed). The grub screw has what looks like a very small piece of plastic material on the end. This, I suppose, stops it from marking the rewind knob. It also most probably prevents it from working loose due to vibrations. All very professional. I fitted it to the camera. No problem. It fits snugly and looks good. Then I loaded an old film. advanced it 36 frames forward and tried the rewind crank. Fantastic. Makes rewinding fun. Now I can hardly wait until my film is fully exposed. This is a great accessory. Well worth the money. I paid $US 35.- for each. If Leica would have made it, it would have cost at least $200.- I know, it sound like an ad. But that's how I feel about it. I'll order another one for my 3rd M3. Regards, Horst Schmidt
