Yup.  The F5 body is 1.9 kg, and the AF-S 28-70 is 0.9 kg.  That's six pounds,
two ounces.  The combination produces beautiful photos--similar in quality to a
Leica, except that the extremely high resolution of Leica primes is not
attained, obviously (after all, it's a zoom), but it's heavy.  In exchange for
that, you get a lot of flexibility, plus the usual advantages/disadvantages of
an SLR versus a rangefinder.  Despite the weight, it is ergonomically very easy
and comfortable to handle, particularly the F5 body (but the lens has a
wonderful feel to it as well).

Obviously, this is not something you conceal under your jacket.
