It sounds like you and I have similar glasses prescriptions. I also could 
just barely see the 28mm frame if I moved my eye around enough on an 
M4-P, the 35mm frame was about the limit of easy viewing. I bought the 
28mm auxiliary finder. It has a lot more eye relief and made framing with 
the Elmarit-M 28mm lens a lot easier for me.
