What's important is the weight of the kit as you use it, not necessarily
that everyone uses the same things. As long as the information about what
bits you've weighed are supplied, we know what the comparison is. If
enough people supply weights with enough different configurations, we get
a very good overall picture for comparison.

I didn't weigh the FE2 with MD-12 or the F3/T with MD-12 because my
kitchen scale won't go that high... and I don't so much carry them as hire
a mule to pack them. ;)
