I absolutely agree. Not so long ago I posted to the LUG a somewhat 
angry response to a post which apparently criticized North Carolina 
for being "last in civil rights" (which is close to the truth, but still 
rather offensive). I received a reply from this individual, who 
explained that he was mainly trying to ridicule license plate slogans 
(such as "first in flight") and completely agreed with the point I was 
trying to make in my post. This person is now on my list of "friends" 
rather than "enemies." Email is the way to go when strong emotions 
are involved.
