I bought a 135-R new in 1976. I used it for 20 years before selling it. I
had not a single complaint with either the lens or photographs through it.
As a plus, this lens works superbly with the 2X extender. Difficult, if not
impossible, to detect any loss in sharpness or contrast.

The 135 is a great R lens.
