What a fabulous site this lake is...almost an "inland sea".. For those who have never seen Lake Winnapesasukee such body of water suddenly appears in the mountains sort of dream like. The first time I saw the Lake I was almost speechless. Now Bruce, if you have a chance, get up to Big Squam Lake in New Hampshsire. Was where On Golden Pond was filmed. Still pristine with Loons, and ringed by verdant mountains. Wish I was a poet. Lake Winnepesaukee can get very rough...would think about some type for protective clear filter for the lens. Your 24 or 21 would be great..set the lens on hyperfocal, and have a wonderful time. Elliot
