Most of what I've read seems to indicate 5 year or less life on inkjet prints
... has it been improved with newer papers and inks?

one guy told me even  Photo CD's only have a life of 10 years -- which I found
hard to believe.

the only near archieve quality printer I know of is the ALPS.

anyone have newer info?
